Join Padre Pio Pilgrimages and Father Georges Haddad, Pastor St. Elias Parish, Brooklyn, OH. For a fabulous 11 day, 10 night tour of the Shrines of Portugal, Spain PLUS Lourdes, France. Including Marian Apparition Sites in Fatima, San Sebastián de Garabandal & Lourdes.
The remains of St. James the apostle in Santiago de Compostela and St Therese of Avila, Dr. of the Church & Patron Saint of Spain in Alba De Tormes. We will also visit significant sites in the life of St. Ignatius of Loyala in Apeitzia, Pamplona, Monserrat and Manresa. In addition we will tour Barcelona, Lisbon, and Porto. You will also have daily free time to sightsee, shop, have lunch and pray.
November 4
Arrive Lisbon. Tour city including National Cathedral & Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua (Overnight in Lisbon).
Derpart Lisbon for Fatima on November 5.
November 5
Fatima where we will visit one of the most famous Marian Apparition sites of the 20th Century tour Shrine and Shepherds Village (Overnight in Fatima)
November 6
Depart Fatima for Salamanca where we will visit the Shrine of St. Therese of Avila in Alba de Torres, Spain (overnight in Salamanca, Spain).
November 7
Depart Salamanaca for Porto, Portugal for city tour including Church of St. Francis and Porto Cathedral and port wine tasting at a few of the most famous Port wine makers in the world (overnight Porto).
November 8
Visit/tour the beautiful city of Santiago di Compostela and the remains of the Apostle James as featured in the movie The Way with Martin Sheen & Emilio Estevez (overnight in Santiago di Compostela).
November 9
Depart Santiago di Compóstela for Garabandal and the Marian Shrine – –The Basilica of Our Lady of Covadonga. Also tour San Sebastián de Garabandal (Overnight in Garabandal).
November 10
Morning in Garabandal before departing for Pamplona to see both the birthplace of St Ignatius of Loyola in Azpeitzia and the site the famous battle site where St Ignatius of Loyola was wounded (Overnight in Pamplona).
November 11
Depart for Lourdes, France to tour Shrine site and learn about the life of Marian Apparitions to Saint Bernadette (overnight Lourdes).
November 12
Depart Lourdes for Manresa and Monserrat – site of Ignatius Conversion and Beginning of Spiritual exercises. Travel to and overnight in Barcelona.
November 13 – 14
Barcelona Tour (Overnights 11/12 and 11/13 Barcelona)
Depart for CLE 11/14
